Mongolia started its vaccination rollout against coronavirus on 23 February. Around 600,000 people have been vaccinated in the country until the government suspended the vaccination programme on 10 April to avoid crowds forming amid the current nationwide lockdown.

According to health officials, 0.37 percent or 2304 people who have received the Covid-19 vaccines have confirmed as having the coronavirus infection. Those people were confirmed having the virus 7-10 days after getting jabs.

Furthermore, two people; one who received the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine and another who got the first dose of Pfizer vaccine have died. Information on the precise causes of the deaths has not been released.
