The total cases of Covid-19 has soared to 10282, registering a steady increase since early March, 2020.

Today (5 April), Mongolia confirmed 602 new cases of coronavirus; sadly a man in his 60s has died of Covid-19.

So far, 16 people have died from coronavirus; although, four of them suffered from underlying health complaints.

Whilst, this may seem trivial compared to many other countries, it should be remembered that Mongolia has a population of only three million; due to its tough approach from the start of the pandemic, it managed to prevent all local transmission up to November.
