Today (1 March), Mongolia confirmed 45 new cases of coronavirus in Ulaanbaatar. According to the Health Ministry, 29 of the people had been under observation, 13 people had been identified in the recent mass testing programme, as having had direct conduct with confirmed cases, and three people were diagnosed with COVID-19 from unknown sources.

So far, Mongolia has 2952 confirmed cases of coronavirus; 2433 have been locally transmitted – of them, 2107 are from Ulaanbaatar.

Separately, 50 people were discharged from the National Centre for Communicative Diseases after having recovering from coronavirus.
