In 2021, the U.S. Department of State’s flagship international exchange scheme, the Fulbright Programme, is celebrating its 75th anniversary with the theme “Impact: 75 Years of Global Actions, Opportunities, and Connections” with virtual and in-person activities and events worldwide  and in Mongolia. The anniversary will showcase the programme’s positive impact on individuals, institutions, and communities in the United States and around the world.

The Fulbright Mongolia Programme started with the very first Mongolian Fulbright Student traveling to the United States in 1994; since then, it has facilitated almost 500 two-way exchanges that have strengthened our joint relationship and forged lasting connections between our two countries.

In observation of this milestone, the US Embassy will highlight accomplished alumni, host monthly Fulbright alumni talks, and organize virtual and in-person events.
