Police in Ulaanbaatar are investigating a murder and a suicide connected to a dispute over a video game. The incident began on Monday, September 5, at a video game parlor in the sixth khoroo of the Sukhbaatar district. Two friends, a 22-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, were playing a game when they began to argue. The 22-year-old then shot and killed the 30-year-old. The shooter later notified a friend of the shooting. Police were notified, but when they tried to enter the parlor, the 22-year-old committed suicide by shooting himself. A source says the 30-year-old victim was a student at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology.
