Mongolia has confirmed 32 new cases of coronavirus, all but one from the localized outbreak at Ulaanbaatar’s Bayanzurkh District General Hospital; the single casewas a passenger from Frankfurt flight.

So far, Mongolia has 993 confirmed cases of coronavirus; 531 of them are locally transmitted.

Furthermore, six Mongolian provinces where the coronavirus infection had initially spread when the fist local transmissions occurred, are now considered to have taken full control of the situation as there had been no new cases in 10-18 days.

As of today, Ulaanbaatar has 206 confirmed cases of coronavirus, there have been 216 in Selenge Province, 45 in Darkhan-UulProvince, 32 in Dornogobi, 25 Orkhon, four in Gobisumber and three in Arkhangai provinces.
