Since it began in 2003, the number of people attending the annual investors’ forum “Discover Mongolia” has grown every year. A record 1,500 people are taking part in this year’s forum, which is now underway in Ulaanbaatar.

The motto of this year’s forum is: “To Develop Beneficial Cooperation.” Organizers note that Mongolia’s economy has improved greatly since the first forum, mainly due to the country’s mining sector.

Mining is on the mind of many of the people attending this year’s forum. Investors are especially interested in the Tavantolgoi site.
