Mongolia’s first Olympic champion N.Tuvshinbayar has been elected as the President of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee. The decision was made during today’s session. A total of 123 members of the NOC – or 94.6 percent of participants – favored N.Tuvshinbayar as President. Now, he will lead the Committee for the next four years. The session attendance was 74 percent.
Judo champion N.Tuvshinbayar won a gold medal at the 29th Olympics in Beijing, silver at the 30th Olympic Games in London, a team bronze medal at the World Judo Championships in 2015, a gold medal at the Asian Games, and a gold medal at the Asian Judo Championships in 2014.
