A car crash killed six people in western Mongolia, according to a press release from the country’s traffic police on Friday (7 Aug). The accident occurred on Thursday evening when the car hit the welcoming gate for the Nogoonnuur Soum (district) of Bayan-Ulgii Province.
Among the victims were two children, aged 8 and 15, the police department said, urging drivers to comply with traffic rules to protect themselves and their loved ones. An investigation into the accident is underway.
