The ninth annual International Investors’ Forum opens today at the Children’s Palace of Ulaanbaatar. Approximately 1,000 people from around the world are attending the forum. They will discuss investment opportunities in Mongolia, particularly in the burgeoning mining sector.

P.Ochirbat, the first president of Mongolia and the head of the forum’s organizing committee, officially opened the forum. Newcom Group CEO B.Bold read a report entitled, “Investment Perspective of Mongolia.” Mongolian Mining Corporation CEO G.Battsengel and other officials will also make presentations at the forum.

Foreign organizations attending the forum include UBS Bank, Credit Suisse, and LSE.
