A fuel truck fire has left two people dead and 16 injured after a tragic accident on 15 July. The fuel truck caught fire after overturning on a road to Arkhangai Province and the blaze engulfed five cars and a motorcycle. A large inferno spread as the fuel spilled onto the road. Therefore, the road connecting Arkhangai and Zavkhan provinces was closed for several hours.
Across Mongolia, a total of 26 people died in road accidents during the long holiday of Naadam Festival from 10-16 July.
