A MIAT-chartered plane has ended up with two extra passengers on board after a pregnant woman gave birth on board above the clouds.The Boeing plane was returning from the Turkish city of Istanbul evacuating 261 Mongolian nationals when the heavy pregnant woman started having contractions. The drama took place above the Black Sea; the twin girls were born while the plane was passing above the Russian resort of Sochi at 10.00 p.m. on 9 July.
Fortunately, there were professional doctors from the Metropolitan Professional Inspection Department and the National Centre for Communicative Diseases. The plane touched down at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport in Ulaanbaatar at 01.00 a.m. on 10 July.
