Mongolia to repatriate some 3000 of its nationals in July

This month, Mongolia will repatriate some 3000 its nationals with 10 charter flights to Seoul, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Istanbul. Two Boeing aircraft from MIAT, Mongolian airlines will fly to Seoul on 2 July for evacuating Mongolians stranded in South Korea and East Asia.

Mongolia has been repatriating its students, who study in Russia since March. So far, there are some 220 students remaining in Russia after Mongolia evacuated 114 students from Moscow with a charter flight last week. The remaining students will return home through Altanbulag-Khyagta border crossing on 5-6 July. Furthermore, 308 Mongolians will return from China on 2-3 July.

The country of three million repatriated a total of 2358 its nationals in June.
