For preventing a possible natural disaster, roads in eastern Mongolian provinces were closed today (15 May). Therefore, the daily bus services to Sukhbaatar, Khentii, Dornod, Darkhan-Uul and Selenge province have been suspended for an indefinite period. Previously, roads to Sukhbaatar, Khentii, Dundgobi and South Gobi were closed before the wind struck.

The National Agency of Meteorology and Environment has issued a warning for blizzards and strong winds throughout the country during night time on May 14-15, with wind speeds reaching 24-26 and 34 m/sec at some times.
