The Mongolian Paralympic Committee has awarded sign language interpreter S.Byambadelger with the Order of Golden the Sun for her contribution to the profession. S.Byambadelger is well known as sign language interpreter on the Tsagiin Khurd (the Time Wheel programme) of MNB. She has been working as a bridge for people with disabilities for 25 years and teaches at the Rehabilitation Training Centre of the General Agency for the Development of Persons with Disabilities.

S.Baymbadelger explained that due to the lack of a proper training base for sign language interpreters in Mongolia, there are only ten in the country. The absence of training facilities means interpreters have to study abroad.
