Mongolia has reported its 40th confirmed case of Covid-19 after one of the passengers evacuated from Frankfurt, was diagnosed as having the coronavirus infection. The country of 3.2 million evacuated 274 of its nationals from the central Germany city with a MIAT chartered flight on 3 May.
Separately, another two Mongolians have been discharged from the National Centre for Communicative Diseases after fully recovering from coronavirus following a 40 day-long treatment. Currently, 28 people with Covid-19 are still under treatment at the NCCD.
A special advice help line for Mongolian nationals who are stuck in Turkey, Sweden and Austria has been set up giving advice and information about coronavirus. One Mongolian in Sweden is self-isolating after having been confirmed as having coronavirus, health officials reported.
