The Ulaanbaatar City Administration in organising its big annual clean-up tomorrow, 25 April. This year, it comes in the midst of the  coronavirus restrictions with strict 1 meter social distancing and the ban on social gatherings. Normally, the UB spring cleanup is a big event involving company employees, volunteers, students and the public generally; this year, only professional organisations will participate in the big clean-up day. Nevertheless, enterprises across the Mongolian capital are being asked to clean the area next to their premises.

Separately, the Ulaanbaatar City Administration has created jobs for 130 people for cleaning the green areas of the capital and the banks of the city’s three rivers, the Tuul, Selbe and Dund, every weekend.
