The Ulaanbaatar City Administration is focusing on establishing more green spaces. This is part of a drive to have more urban gardens per capita and reducing dust particles in the air. The Ulaanbaatar Mayor’s Office is currently planting grass in areas with bare soil, growing trees and creating gardens in 157 locations.
According to public space specialist of the UB Mayor’s Office D.Sukhbat, new public gardens will be created on a land area of 122 hectares in the capital city and trees will be planted in 13 locations.
