A 28-year old man died of tuberculosis in closed prison number 461, which is located outside Ulaanbaatar on 13 April at 10.30 p.m. According to officials, the prisoner died in the prison hospital, where he has been undergoing treatment since 2 April. It appears that the man had a combination of health problems such as chronic kidney inflammation and a spinal nerve illness.

He was recently jailed for defrauding MNT 4.5 billion from 2231 people.
