Horse racing is incredibly important to Mongolians; it is known as one of the country’s three manly games along with wrestling and archery. Therefore, trainers of race horses are mostly quite wealthy.  The Federation of Mongolian Horse Racing Sport and Trainers is big organization with branches in all 330 soums (rural districts) of the 21 provinces of the country.

Earlier today (27 March), the Federation donated MNT 120 million to the Health Ministry and a thousand of sheep to the Mongolian President’s gift to China.

President Kh.Battulga, as the first foreign head of state to visit China since the COVID-19 outbreak, has offered a donation of 30,000 sheep to China during his recent one-day visit there.
