A total of MNT 303 million 664 thousand has been collected by Mongolians in  a donation campaign announced by the Government of Mongolia for helping coronavirus hit China. In total, 118 individuals and 43 organisations donated to the campaign Entitled “Heartfelt Support for our Neighbour Forever”. Earlier today (13 March), D. Tsogtbaatar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia handed the donation to Ambassador of China to Mongolia, H.E. Chai Wenrui.

Since the coronavirus outbreak began in Wuhan, the Mongolian government, businesses, China alumni, citizens, and even the president joined in making donations to China. Also, President of Mongolia Kh. Battulga became the first foreign leader who paid a visit to China since the Covid-19 pandemic began. In Beijing, he donated 30,000 sheep worth of CHY 60 million. Upon his return, both he and the members of his delegation went into to quarantine
