Mongolia has evacuated 104 people who have been stranded in Erenhot, a city in Inner Mongolia after the country fully closed border with China. The evacuation took place with the approval of the National Emergency Commission at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
On Saturday, three buses carrying 104 passengers entered the Zamyn-Uud border crossing from Erenhot. Mongolian health officials and custom officers conducted medical checks on passengers and sterilized their luggage as soon as the buses entered the border crossing. After four thorough medical checkups, one of the passengers has been suspected of being ill with Coronavirus. Now, all the passengers are under quarantines.
