
The Secretaries noted that Finnish President Tarja Halonen’s recent visit to Mongolia has opened a new page in relations between the two nations, and the two sides have agreed to implement measures discussed during the visit.
The Secretaries expressed their common interest in promoting democracy, market economies, good governance, and human rights. They also pledged to work toward furthering bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and Finland.
D.Tsogtbaatar said the Ministry will move forward on a plan to create a joint Mongolia-Finland inter-governmental commission.
