People name their kids after all sorts of people, so why not after a Super Saiyan?

Last week, a Facebook post about a Mongolian father who named his new baby boy “Goku” attracted much attention. The Goku plays the powerful main role in Japan’s Dragon Ball animation.

D.Ochirkhuyag is clearly obsessed with Dragon Ball’s Goku, which he has watched since childhood. He even decided to become a body-builder because of the Goku character.

D.Ochirkhuyag grew up in Poland where his family immigrated when he was three years-old. He returned Mongolia nine years ago when he was 23 years-old and actively began searching for his future wife – he found B.Khalkhgoo, who became the love of his life. The pair were married in 2018.

D.Ochirkhuyag graduated from the Polish National University as a fitness teacher. He has been working in this profession in fitness in Mongolia for four years and has also opened the Hi Tec Nutrition supermarket.

Clearly the Goku character has had a decisive influence of his life, so when B.Khalkhgoo gave birth to a baby boy on 31 October, there was only one possible name!
