A new world standard football ground with a track has been constructed in the 19th Khoroo of Ulaanbaatar’s Chingeltei District. The 108 m x72 m pitch with 2000 seats is surrounded by a 400-meter track. In total, 80,000 hectares of the surrounding area has been developed and 43,000 trees and bushes have been planted.
Mongolia has national football teams in nine age categories and is taking part in international matches. However weather and environmental conditions cause difficulties for trainings. Up to now, the absence of a world standard ground has proved a major disadvantage.
