Earlier today (13 August), the long-awaited ‘Korean Week’ cultural event kicked off at the National Park in Ulaanbaatar. The event is co-organised by the Ulaanbaatar City Administration and the South Korean Embassy in Mongolia and marks the 29th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two countries.
During the week-long event, a Korean traditional music concert, a fashion show, traditional games, paper art, sale of Korean products, a K-Pop and Mongolian band performances as well as a concert by the Ulaanbaatar Ensemble are being held.
Relations between Mongolia and South Korea have constantly improved since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1990.
