The National Auto Transportation Centre of Mongolia has launched a new bus service between Sukhbaatar, the centre of Selenge Province and Ulan-Ude, the capital city of Buryatia in the Russian Federation, thereby satisfying increasing demand. Traditionally, there have been close links between Sukhbaatar, which lies close to the Russian border and Ulan-Ude. The bus travel will start from 9 August.
‘Zelterin Zam’ LLC from Mongolia and ‘Vostok Trans’ from Russia will run the buses between Sukhbaatar and Ulan-Ude.
The timetable is as follows:
From Sukhbaatar- every Tuesdays-Fridays and Sundays from the Railway Station, departing 04:30 am.
From Ulan-Ude – every Mondays -Thursdays and Saturdays at Bus station, departing 12:00
Time of the bus travel: 6 hours 45 minutes
Length of the bus travel: 260.5 km
