– D. Enkhbat, the head of Green Party, claimed that you hold a forum in the name of Green Party, violating its rules. What is your reaction?
– For us, D. Enkhbat is not the head of the party. He is an MP, and he became an MP thanks to the Green Party. His attempts to close down the party have failed. The Green Party is legally registered, and headed by D. Enkhbat, according to law. But the Supreme Court considers this an internal problem within the party. Now D. Enkhbat says he is the head of the Civil Will-Green Party. You know he did brainwash us. … When we elected him we thought that he would fight against corruption. But now he is completely changed. He is now a liar.
– You announced your resignation as General Secretary of the Green Party. What was the reason behind that?
– I was criticized for my stand against D. Enkhbat. So I resigned from that position. I did not want to be elected as a head of the party. Now there is a suspicion among members that he is not the right person for our party. The Green Party is left-wing. He could not understand the troubles of the poor or environmental issues.
– Why do you oppose the Green Party and the Civil Will Party joining together?
– The rich want to be the third political power. There is already a group to support the rich in parliament. … The Civil Will-Green Party wants to split DP voters.
– Isn’t it impossible for you to take part in the election since you do not have the stamp of approval of the Party?
-That’s right. I hope our case will be decided before the election. In any case we will hold a forum.
– D. Enkhbat says that he is still the head of the Green Party until he registers his party with the Supreme Court. So who is the head of the Green Party?
– A Mongolian citizen should be a member of one party according to Article 3.2 of the law concerning political parties. It is illegal for him to say that he is the head of two parties. I call upon party members to bring up D. Enkhbat to court.
