Mongolian Soldiers for Peace’ Memorial Complex will be constructed in National Garden Park in Ulaanbaatar city for honouring and promoting the contribution of Mongolian peacekeepers to world stability and peace.

The foundation-laying ceremony was held on the occasion of the International Day of UN Peacekeepers which was marked on 29 May. Mongolia has been celebrating this day since 2005.

Deputy Minister of Defence T.Dulamdorj, Chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces, Major General A.Ganbat and other officials from the General Staff and peacekeepers attended the ceremony.
