Earlier today (17 May), the City Transportation Authority of Ulaanbaatar unveiled a new express bus service that enables passengers to travel between the western and eastern parts of the Mongolian capital in only 10-15 minutes. It usually takes 40 minutes or longer to reach the western parts of the city from the east and visa-versa. The buses will start running on Monday.
The new UB express buses will travel from the Eastern Central Intersection’ (‘Tavan shar) to the Bumbugur Shopping Center – Music and Dance College’ and ‘Zunjin – 7 buudal – Ard Cinema – to Power Station Number 3’.
