Film producer D.Angarag has been appointed as Mongolian Cultural Envoy to the United States. Ambassador Ya.Otgonbayar presented the Certificate of Cultural Envoy to D.Angarag during the opening of a ‘Mongolian Heritage Days’ cultural event that was held at World Bank Headquarters in Washington D.C on 23 April 2019.

D.Angarag who currently works at the American Society of Cinematographers has been active in the film industry since 2000 and has been acclaimed as producer of ‘The Children of Genghis’.

The newly appointed cultural envoy plans to work on promoting Mongolian culture internationally. He intends to develop relationships between the citizens of the two countries, to organize Mongolian film days in the U.S., along with courses and seminars and other events. D.Angarag also hopes to implement new film projects.
