Mongolian baritone Ch.Badral has won the Grand Prix at the first International Opera Singers’ Competition. The event took place in the east Russian city of Yakutsk last week.

Ch.Badral was invited to participate in the competition along with opera singers from more than 10 countries. He is currently working in Italy, performing for the major Italian theatres under contract. Ch.Badral was also chosen as one of the outstanding classical singers to compete in the renowned BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2019 Competition.

In addition to Ch.Badral – S.Bat-Erdene, G.Enkhnaran, E.Munkhtur and concertmaster of the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet B.Solongo participated in the competition. E.Munkhtur won the second place and S.Bat-Erdene claimed the special prize.
