The dates of the presidential state visit to China have been confirmed. According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang, Mongolian President Kh.Battulga will visit China from 24 to 28 April. The state visit has two main purposes: for the president to attend the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) next week and to discuss various bilateral topics with his host, Chinese President Xi Jinping. In the announcement, Lu Kang said, it will be his first official visit to China since becoming president in July, 2016.
The last time President Kh.Battulga met Chinese leader Xi Jinping was in Qindao in July 2018 during the leaders’ meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
