Mongolia’s national airline MIAT has launched a direct air route between its capital city Ulaanbaatar and Guangzhou, the capital city of China’s Guangdong Province, in an effort to expand its regional network.
The first direct flight departed from the Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar to Guangzhou at on Sunday, 31 March at 10:40 p.m. (local time).
The flight will run every Thursday and Sunday, according to the company.
So far, MIAT has three direct-route destinations in China, the others being Beijing and Hong Kong.
