Mongolia is preparing for an official visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Mongolian parliament’s press office said o.

G.Zandanshatar, Speaker of Parliament made the remarks when meeting with Russian Ambassador to Mongolia Iskander Azizov .

“I am happy that bilateral ties and cooperation between Mongolia and Russia have been expanding in all sectors. We have already started preparations for several high-level visits between our two countries, including Putin’s visit to Mongolia,” said  G.Zandanshatar.

Mongolia and Russia are working to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the battle of Khalkhin Gol in the summer, and Putin’s visit is expected to coincide with the anniversary’s celebrations.
