A 33-year-old Mongolian woman called T.Enkhtuya has given birth to a 5 kg 750 gram baby boy – the heaviest newborn ever recorded in the country. The boy was born at the National Centre for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH) on 25 March at 9.55 p.m. The boy was delivered by a traditional midwife.

The boy already has seven older siblings.
