Young Mongolian rapper D.Munkhtulga, better known by his stage name of ‘Don Dior’ has been handed a suspended jail sentence for drug possession after having pleaded guilty. He received a one-year suspended sentence. He was arrested on Light Street which is located in Ulaanbaatar’s Sukhbaatar district in August, 2018.

D.Munkhtulga claimed that two men who are his fans gave him white powder in plastic bags saying they did not have pockets. So, he put this in his bag, evidently, not knowing they were drugs.

Prosecutors demanded a jail sentence for him, but his lawyer requested a suspended sentence as he was a first-time offender and had admitted his guilt.
