Mongolian Food, Agriculture and Light Industries Minister Ch.Ulaan,  received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium H.E. Mr. Mark Vinck earlier today (29 March). During the meeting, Minister Ch.Ulaan expressed his gratitude  to the ambassador for his hard work in developing agricultural cooperation between the two countries. In addition, he explained some implemented policies which the ministry has implemented in the agriculture sector to the ambassador.

The two sides agreed to build a mechanism for cooperation between the two countries in food production and food safety as well as to sign an inter-ministerial MoU. The ambassador proposed to invite a team of governmental and non-governmental experts from Belgium to Mongolia to assist with joint cooperation in the sector.
