The Mongolian parliament appointed three new ministers, including Head of the Cabinet Secretariat.

MP L.Oyun-Erdene was appointed as Head of the Cabinet Secretariat, Yo.Baatarbileg as Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, and B.Enkh-Amgalan as Minister of Road andTtransport Development.

L.Oyun-Erdene replaced G.Zandanshatar, who succeeded M.Enkhbold as speaker of the parliament on Friday. He is one of the lawmakers who spearheaded calls for Enkhbold’s resignation over his alleged involvement in a power abuse scandal.

Yo.Baatarbileg succeeded Ts.Tsogzolmaa, who was dismissed from her post on Friday for working against the government.

B.Enkh-Amgalan replaced Ya.Sodbaatar, who submitted his resignation in December over a scandal involving financial irregularities.
