According to Aibek Smadiyarov, who is the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs D. Tsogtbaatar will be making his first visit to their country. This visit will be for two days beginning on Thursday, January 24th.
Aibek Smadiyarov, who is the Kazinform correspondent, gave further details as part of a weekly briefing,
“As part of the framework of the visit, it is planned to hold meetings with the top leadership of the country, during which bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues will be discussed. In particular, both sides will consider the development of trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian relations, the transit and transport potential of the two countries, the arrangement of mutual high-level visits, as well as the international agenda,” Aibek Smadiyarov told a weekly briefing.
Smadiyarov went on to say that Kazakhstan and Mongolia are strategic partners who have ancient historic and economic ties. He concluded by saying “The Kazakh diaspora in Mongolia is a kind of a friendship bridge connecting the two nations”.
