The National Electronic Transaction Centre (NETC) of the Bank of Mongolia has raised the daily limit for online transactions to MNT 3 million. Previously, online transactions were limited to MNT 1 million.

It is now possible to make payments for up to MNT 3 million via online channels in 1-4 seconds irrespective of location and the date.

The limit increase is based on a thorough study on citizens’ and bank requests, research and estimates. The decision to increase the limit was made to promote public use of online payment.
