A Mongolian delegation led by President Kh.Battulga will attend the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit, which is expected be held on 18-19 October in Brussels. From the Belgium capital he will leave for the 2018 World Investment Forum, which will be held on 22-26 October in Geneva.

Under the theme “Europe and Asia: global partners for global challenges”, the high-level meeting will discuss ways of strengthening trade, investment, and connectivity between the two ends of the Eurasian continent to ensure sustainable development and overcome climate challenges.

President Kh.Battulga will deliver speeches at the opening ceremony and plenary sessions of the high-level meeting and hold bilateral meetings with the heads of state and government of the ASEM partners, including Emmanuel Macron, President of France, Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary, and Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of Vietnam, as well as top officials from the European Union and the European Commission.

During the World Investment Forum in Geneva, President Battulga will attend sessions and events such as the Global Investment Game Changers Summit, the Global Leaders Investment Summit, and an Investment Village and give speeches on the investment policy of the Government of Mongolia, the legal environment, and investment opportunities and conditions in the main economic sectors.

President Kh.Battulga will also hold meetings with senior figures from the World Trade Organization, the International Trade Centre, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and the International Olympic Committee and study the functions of the organizations in depth.
