Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh is visiting Selenge, which can be called the “bread-basket” of Mongolia today (10 October). More than 350 enterprises and 150 individuals have cultivated a total of 305.5 thousand hectares in this province where 90 percent of all soums (districts) are listed as a cultivatable land. Currently, harvesting is underway Selenge province and has been 46 percent completed.
Local business and officials requested the prime minister to repair 110 km of the so-called ‘rice road’ which runs through four soums.
Recently, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh has visited Tuv and Darkhan-Uul provinces.
