On Thursday (4 October), the Mongolian Parliament approved the resignation of J.Bat-Erdene, Minister of Road and Transport Development. The minister submitted his resignation on 12 August to Prime Minister taking responsibility for an incident which happened in the ministry which left one official dead and another under arrest.

In total, 76.2 percent of 63 MPs voted for accepting his resignation. The Mongolian Parliament has 76 members.
