Mongolian mountaineer B.Gangaamaa has participated in the 2018 Social Forum organized by the UN Human Rights Council in Switzerland. The annual three-day meeting was held on 1-3 October in the Palais des Nations in Geneva. This year, the meeting focused on “the possibilities of using sport and the Olympic ideal to promote human rights for all and to strengthen universal respect for them.”

State-honoured athlete B.Gangaamaa raised her voice on gender equality in the sports sector. She noted that women can achieve success in any sports based on her own experience as a ‘Seven Summiteer’ and other successful women can change rules that don’t support women’s participation on sports.
