A Mongolian delegation headed by MP Yo. Baatarbileg, Head of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Policy, Education, Culture and Science has participated in the 10th Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership Meeting (ASEP10). The event took place in Brussels, Belgium on 27-28 September.
At the opening ceremony of the meeting, Mr. Yo.Baatarbileg stressed the significance of the meeting in addressing climate change around the world. During the event, ASEM partner countries noted their appreciation of Mongolia for having successfully hosted the ninth Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership Meeting in 2016.
The meeting released a joint declaration after discussing how the issues of climate and environmental change are affecting global sustainable development, economy, migration, and security.
