The mother of a man serving 20 years for his role in the killing of a girl held a press conference on Friday to announce that she will cut off one of her fingers unless her son’s conviction is reviewed.

J. Ochbadrakh is one of nine people who were convicted last June of killing the girl. His mother says the verdict was unfair. The verdict has already been upheld by an appeals court and the Supreme Court. The others convicted of the crime were given sentences ranging from 17 to 20 years. The court found that the girl was killed intentionally with a weapon.
