A ‘Secret History of Mongolian National Costume’ theatrical fashion show will take place in the Choijin Lama Temple Museum today.

Dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the establishment of the Choijin Lama Temple Museum and the 15th anniversary of ‘Mongol Costumes’ Centre, the fashion show will display the history of national clothing from the New Stone Age to today.

The fashion show will allow audiences to the experience historic development of Mongolian costumes in an interesting way, getting acquainted with the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Mongolia.

In 2012, the ‘Secret History of Mongolian National Costume’ theatrical fashion show was held at the office of UNESCO at the invitation of former Director-General Irina Bokova.
