The ‘Ulaanbaatar’ International Media Art Festival (UBIMAF) will be held from 28 June to 13 July at the Central Museum of Mongolian Dinosaurs and during the ‘Playtime’ festival. Under the theme ‘Limitless’, the festival is aimed at developing cultural diversity, introducing the world’s best works based on technological advancements to the Mongolian audiences and promoting international fine arts cooperation.

The festival is being hosted by ACM, officially partnering with the Stimuleringsfonds of the Netherlands, Тodays Art international media art festival, the Tuguldur Foundation, Chinggis Khaan Hotel, the Goethe Institute, the US Embassy, XAC Bank and with the support of the Mongolia Quest, the Zanabazar Fine Arts Museum and the MN17 Gallery.

A total of 12 artists from Mongolia, the USA, China, Germany, Korea and Taiwan will present eight media works that shows that there are no boundaries in science, technology and the arts. In addition, media art workshops, ‘Art Talks’ meetings and discussions for artists and students are to be conducted.
