Boxer N.Tugstsogt, nicknamed “King Tug”, undertook his tenth professional fight with Columbian Oscar Escandon on 26 May. N.Tugstsogt knocked down his opponent in the third round of the match which was held in Biloxi City,Mississippi.

During the match, N.Tugstsogt wore a black outfit with a printed photo of late coach D.Bandi for remembering his contribution of teaching boxing. D.Bandi passed away in January after suffering for a long time from a chronic disease.

Mongolian professional boxer N.Tugstsogt won a silver medal in the flyweight category of the 2012 Summer Olympics. Since turning professional, ‘King Tug’ has had ten fights, all of which he has won by KO (knockout).

His opponent Oscar Escandon participated in Athens Olympic Games in 2004. He has won 25 fights out of 28 matches since he entered in professional boxing ring in 2008. The Columbian boxer became WBO featherweight champion in December, 2014.
